I had watch the trailer and I told dear and myself that I want to catch this one.
However, the movie (in Spanish) did not end satisfactorily but then again, I did not even think of how the movie will end.
The premise itself is different from the usual horror movie concept and I recall the movie "the Nun" being as equally different.
As the title suggests (not the Spanish sounding one), the plot revolves around an orphanage which housed a certain event that cruelly and fatefully took place a long time ago. In the present timeline, a lonely boy has no friends and he fell in with imaginary ones and therein lies the story; are the friends real or not?
It is worth noting that this movie actually outsold the widely acclaimed Pan's Labyrinth in terms of gross income in Spain, so it is worth watching for the hype, although I am a little disappointed with the ending.
I rate this movie 3.5 out of 5, but I will have given it more if the ending was equally overwhelming as the premise of the movie.
